As a family (4 people), we spent a very pleasant long weekend in Cas' flat. The location of the flat is centrally located in the historic and picturesque centre of Franeker. There are numerous shops, bakeries, restaurants and so on within walking distance. Free parking is available in the Lidl/Albert Heijn car park, about a 5-minute walk away. The flat is extremely nice and cosy, equipped with all the necessities. Although there is no hob, only a microwave, this was not a problem for us. The beds are comfortable and the children found the bunk bed, which is a bit hidden, very cosy. Communication with Cas was smooth, as was the transfer of the key. The flat is a good base for trips to, for example, Leeuwarden (20 minutes), Groningen (1 hour), the North Sea (10 minutes) and the beautiful sandy beaches along the IJsselmeer dyke (1 hour). Please note that the stairs to the sleeping gallery are a bit steep and have no handrail, but this was not a problem for us.
